apart again

She is home safe: Happy as a lark after being embraced by children and grandchildren.

The pond stands. It is not still, yet, it is mighty in it's power to keep us apart.

Today, I clean, make things orderly. I'll put away the scrabble board which remained on the table in constant use. The battles we waged! The laughter! The flight to the dictionary to disapprove of a Latin word which Webster ultimately allowed.

I slept soundly.

We don't know when we will be together again. It was a month of bliss, humor, ordinary life, shopping. Hugging..........

I feel renewed, yet, I look around me.........there is too much space.

Me. Here. Right now. said...

I love the comment you left at my place. I have dated long distance - half a continent away and it didn't work. I have dated within the state, but it's a big one. I have dated in Northern California - still too distant.

I don't mingle well. I know you know that there are those of us who don't. I've had two fixups in the last month - neither seems any more anxious than I to drive over an hour to see what that will be about.

So, it leaves me the Internet. And, I have met some wonderful women there...they just aren't all wonderful.

For you, I wish a new trip very soon.

Thank you dear friend.

Am missing her-the place is too quiet and too neat.

The cats actually walked downstairs to escort her to the door.

Am most sad!

May your time apart from her be short and sweet.

I pray that be the case Arial.

Dear Cap'n,

There is the reality of a long separation.

'Tis scary indeed!

Yet, time should be spent in productivity not stagnation.

No other choice exists.

I am pondering some creative ventures.

Perhaps it is time for the writer to write once again.

How sweet that you began with She is home safe.

You two are carving out a curvy road, but you're traveling it together, and that's what counts. I think.

Oh! my dear Margo!

Curvy and rocky!

But, what else can we do?

We are doing it together.

The world is supposed to end in 2012 so we might as well stick it out to the end!

just sayin'

It's all over in 2012!?!?

Dang. I guess I can stop flossing then. Yay!
